I’m a Richmond, VA native, cat mom and home gardener with overflowing bookshelves and crafts shoved in every corner of the house.
I’ve been immersing myself in my own imagination my whole life. Whether it was drawing and painting the places I wish I could live in, building makeshift cardboard houses for my childhood dolls, or photographing the beautiful world I’ve gotten to explore, I’ve never been able to get out of the daydreams in my head. Although I may have tried to write my first novel at 11 (the manuscript lost to an ancient laptop), I didn’t find myself considering creative writing as more than a simple hobby until I fell back in love with reading in 2022.
The spark of inspiration hit me so strong, I couldn’t stop myself from building an entire new world in my head that I had to put on paper. Reading and writing is so much more than escapism; it’s self-expression, building community, catharsis and joy all wrapped up in a few hundred pages. And I’m beyond excited to finally share that with everyone.
